SecondDoor and Ora / is-agentic.com
The largest free agent-readiness scanner, distributed by Vercel.
Claims about Ora / is-agentic.com checked August 2026. Their site.
What it is
Ora, built by era labs, scores websites on 127 checks across discovery, access, usability and payments, and publishes the results on a public leaderboard that passed 52,929 scanned sites this summer. In August 2026 Vercel launched is-agentic.com on top of Ora's checks, giving the scanner mainstream distribution. Ora also published AgentReady, an open standard for agent readiness, at agentready.org.
Its most interesting feature is Journeys: an agent is given a real task on your site and reports back where the run struggled. That is a genuine walk, not a checklist, and it is the closest any tool comes to SecondDoor's agent door. Ora is free with no visible paid tier as of August 2026; the site invites larger teams to get in touch.
What it does well
- 127 checks is the deepest static surface audit in the category.
- Journeys walks a real task, which no other free tool does.
- A 52,929-site leaderboard and Vercel distribution give its scores reach.
- CLI, MCP and API access, plus an open published standard.
Choose Ora / is-agentic.com when
- You want the deepest free agent-side audit available and no budget for anything else.
- You are in the Vercel ecosystem and want the scanner your platform promotes.
- You want to contribute to or align with an open standard rather than a vendor rubric.
What SecondDoor measures that it does not
- The human baseline. Ora scans one door; SecondDoor scans both and scores the distance between them, which is the number that says whether agents are being served worse than people.
- Screenshot evidence from the human walk, so the report shows what a person saw at the moment the agent was stopped.
- Scoring shaped to what the business is: a storefront is walked to a checkout, a software business to a signup.
- Monitoring: SecondDoor rescans on a schedule and alerts on regressions. Ora scans when you ask.

Common questions
Is SecondDoor's agent score the same measurement as Ora's?
They overlap on the protocol surface: both check llms.txt, MCP manifests, robots rules and structured data. SecondDoor additionally walks the funnel in a real browser on every scan and scores the agent side against a human baseline from the same session, which Ora does not measure.
Ora is free. Why pay SecondDoor?
SecondDoor's scan is also free. The paid tiers buy scheduled rescans, regression alerts and evidence history. If you only want a one-off agent-side audit, run both free scans and compare.
The comparison that settles it is your own site. A free scan takes about a minute and the report is permanent.
